The Agri Collective appoints Community Engagement Specialist.

We are pleased to announce that the Agri Collective, with support from City of Greater Geelong Council, recently appointed Lena Neill as our Community Engagement Specialist – Agribusiness, on a 12-month contract.

As Community Engagement Specialist, Lena’s role is to listen to our agribusiness, food and beverage producers, and to provide support, information and referrals, as the go-to-person in the G21 region.

Bio: Lena joins the Agri Collective after a 20+ year career as business advisor, supporting agribusiness, food and beverage producers in the Southwest region to grow in new markets. Most recently, Lena held a position as Global Engagement Manager (National Agribusiness, Food and Consumer team) at Austrade (the Australian Trade and Investment Commission). She has also worked as a TradeStart Advisor for the Southwest region (export) within state and federal government and the Export Council of Australia, Operations Manager for a group of companies in the food manufacturing and FMCG industry and as a private business consultant. With a wealth of experience supporting businesses of all sizes across a range of industries, her greatest experience and passion is for the agribusiness, food and beverage sector. She is looking forward to connecting with businesses in the G21 region and to contribute to the continued growth of our strong agribusiness community.
