Relying largely on word of mouth to market its quality product, Great Ocean Road Gin won two gold medals and best Navy Gin trophy at the Australian Gin Awards.
Before establishing its own tasting room, the company attended markets around the region and promoted the brand to locals and weekenders through social media and word of mouth.
The gins are sold wholesale locally and in Melbourne both on and off premise. BWS recently signed to sell through 14 stores in the Geelong and Surfcoast region, while Paramount Liquor distributes Great Ocean Road Gin in Melbourne, SA and NSW.

“Twelve months ago with the family in tow, we decided to make a sea change so that our kids could grow up in this amazing place and I could develop my own business making premium craft gin.Great Ocean Road Gin is my expression, my love of quality craft gin and a nostalgic nod to my favourite place in the world, The Great Ocean Road.My first gin is affectionately called Guvvos after a popular local surf beach. Guvvos is one of my daughter’s favourite places to surf and is a beautiful and rugged stretch of coastline. Great for dog walking and kelp foraging.”
