international freight assistance

The Australian Government is seeking feedback to guide investment in it’s new $110 million International Freight Assistance Measures (IFAM) package.

The IFAM is a new network of 15 air freight service providers and freight forwarders, established to accelerate delivery of agricultural and fisheries exports into key overseas markets.

The network will allow the IFAM to ramp-up assistance to exporters and re-establish global supply chains. Through the IFAM, the Australian Government will meet a portion of the airfreight costs – reducing costs for exporters and ensuring they can get their produce on flights and to international customers quickly.

If you rely on air freight to export high-value agricultural and fisheries products, such as seafood, red meat, dairy or horticulture, the Australian Government wants to hear from you.

Register your interest in IFAM here.

Your feedback will help inform the International Freight Coordinator-General of the key ports of demand for time sensitive air freight.
