the autumn yield

13th May, 2019

On Monday May 20, more than 20 local producers staged an exclusive event showcasing the best food and beverage products from across the G21 region.

The Autumn Yield, an event created by the newly launched Agri Collective brought together producers from regional and local metropolitan areas in a celebration of what the region has to offer.

Supported by local caterers, exclusive hotels and restaurants, retailers, industry bodies and media agencies, guests and attendees were treated to a showcase and education about the wealth of collaborative produce opportunity available in the region.

Hosted by Natalie O’Brien, former CEO of Melbourne Food and Festival, The Autumn Yield provided the perfect backdrop for producers to engage with an extremely receptive audience and investigate supply chain opportunities.

With support from the Commonwealth Government, City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire, Golden Plains Shire, the event effectively launched the transformation of the G21 Agribusiness Forum to The Agri Collective – Yielding Growth.

Guests were introduced to the new platform and website, created to support agribusinesses in the region. The Agri Collective encourages all producers to subscribe to the website and interact with one another to further build and promote the region’s capabilities.
